Productions are done by a sociocultural not-for-profit corporation based in Ghent, Belgium with branches in Italy and the U.S.A.
‘The Academy’ was established by Armondo Linus Acosta and his film family following their successful production of the acclaimed film concert ROMEO AND JULIET.
The purpose of the Academy is to inspire its members and students to develop their creative potential with great joy and refinement.
In association with the Academy of Film and the Arts, we have been filming productions at the Academy One Studios in Ghent, Belgium.
In addition to a full-service film studio and a beautiful courtyard, “The Academy” features suites for dance and theatre classes, a sound booth for music recording / engineering / production classes, an on-site restaurant reminiscent of a Paris café, a vegetable garden, and ateliers for painting, sculpting, wood working and welding.
